Engineering Senior Named TMS Structural Materials Division Scholar for Second Year

University of Idaho College of Engineering senior Jadzia Graves has been named The Minerals, Metals and Materials Society Structural Materials Division Scholar for 2021, the second year in a row. Graves received a $2,500 scholarship that also includes the Battelle Materials Graduate Student Award, for use if she chooses to participate in graduate school and continue studies in a materials-related field. MOSCOW, Idaho — July 21, 2020 — Researchers at the University of Idaho have partnered with the City of Moscow to improve wastewater testing for the presence of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. The team hopes to develop an early warning system for spikes in local cases. Read more
