Ranked among the nation’s top seven by the National Academy of Engineering for infusing real-world education into undergraduate education, your journey through the University of Idaho College of Engineering's Interdisciplinary Capstone Design Program is anything but ordinary. In your final year, you’ll join forces with fellow Vandals — crossing disciplines, collaborating with industry leaders and bringing bold ideas to life.

From first spark to final prototype, you'll navigate the full design process, creating solutions that are tested, validated and built for impact. Your expedition culminates at the Engineering Design EXPO — the Pacific Northwest’s longest-running student engineering showcase — where you’ll present your innovations through professional exhibits and technical presentations. This is where your creativity meets real-world engineering.
