Center for Modeling Complex Interactions Call for Pilot Grant Proposals
UI's Center for Modeling Complex Interactions (CMCI) is now accepting pilot grant proposals. Letters of intent are due Oct. 10; full proposals are due Nov. 15. CMCI’s goal is to bring together modelers and empirical scientists to address biomedical problems across all levels of biological organization, from biophysical to ecological. Read more.
Office of Undergraduate Research Student Grant Competition
The Office of Undergraduate Research is soliciting research proposals from students in any discipline. Successful applicants will receive a project budget up to $1,000 to fund research, scholarly or creative projects. Proposal deadline for fall grants is Nov. 1, 2016. Read more.
MURI Student Applications Now Open
Priority deadline for student applications to the Miles Undergraduate Research and Internships (MURI) program is Sept. 30 Idaho EPSCoR will provide up to $4,000 per student participant in the program. MURI is designed to engage undergraduates in the STEM fields in hands-on, paid summer and academic year research experiences to study within a wide range of topics broadly related to the MILES program. DOE Supports Doctoral Research at National Labs
The Department of Energy’s Office of Science Graduate Student Research program is now accepting applications for its 2016 solicitation 2. Applications are due at 5 p.m. Eastern Time Monday, Nov. 21. The program supports U.S. doctoral students to conduct part of their thesis research at a DOE national laboratory. Read more.
