Helping Improve Health Care

Shenghan Xu, an associate professor of operations management; Jeff Seegmiller, director of Idaho WWAMi; and SeAnne Safaii, associate professor of foods and nutrition received $2,939,541 from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare for “State Evaluation on Idaho Statewide Healthcare Innovation Project (SHIP) Model Test.” Learn more about this project.

Fighting a Potato Pest

Joseph Kuhl, an associate professor of plant, soil and entomological sciences, and Louise-Marie Dandurand, an assistant professor of plant, soil and entomological sciences, received $125,000 from the Idaho Potato Commission for “Development of Pale Cyst Nematode resistance in russet-skinned potato clones for Idaho.” Learn more about UI potato nematode research.
