Idaho Heritage Project
Serving rural communities throughout the state of Idaho
The Idaho Heritage Project – Rural Services Scholarship Fund provides scholarship support for students serving summer internships, externships, or pro bono service in rural communities throughout the state of Idaho. This support allows law students to take positions in our more rural communities, with the hope that these experiences and connections will encourage future practice in these areas.
The Hopwood Endowment provides financial support to students of the College of Law who serve summer internships with nonprofit land trusts located in the Pacific Northwest. For more information about land trust work options, you can contact the Externships Team at law-externships@uidaho.edu.
Please note that both funds are subject to availability--some districts have more funded opportunities than others. Stipends range from $500 to about $2000.
