The University of Idaho College of Law provides one of the most supportive and friendly law school experiences you will find. The environment is distinctive, and you will be surrounded by faculty and peers who truly care about your success.
Idaho Law is also widely recognized as one of the best values in legal education in the country. Our tuition and fees are lower than many other law programs, which enables you to maximize your investment through a high-quality education at an affordable cost.
We participate in the Western Regional Graduate Program, which allows students from 16 western states and territories to pay the resident tuition rate at the University of Idaho College of Law. Students from the following states may qualify for WRGP:
- The CNMI - Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands
- New Mexico
- North Dakota
- South Dakota
Our small population of approximately 400 students encourages close mentorship from our experienced faculty. You’ll form lifelong friendships with students from around the country and world and establish a professional network that will follow you throughout your career.
We accept applications for Moscow and Boise first-year students beginning September 15, with scholarship priority for applications received prior to March 15. Our application fee is waived through January 15. Two locations broaden and deepen the Juris Doctor curriculum with emphasis areas correlated to the interdisciplinary assets of each: Moscow as part of the broader University of Idaho campus in the north and Boise’s urban, commercial and governmental opportunities in the south.
