Moscow & Boise
The University of Idaho College of Law delivers a focused, high-quality curriculum to students completing their Juris Doctor degrees. Students have the option to complete all three years in either Moscow or Boise. This option broadens and deepens the Juris Doctor curriculum with emphasis areas that correlate with Moscow’s academic campus and Boise’s entrepreneurial and governmental opportunities. Each of these communities presents a distinct array of venues for learning, professional development and recreation.
In Both Locations
Whether you’re in Moscow in the Menard Building or in Boise at Front Street, the U of I College of Law offers a range of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, including the Sherman J. Bellwood Memorial Lectures, Northwest Institute for Dispute Resolution, Idaho Law Review Symposium, student competitions, and dozens of student organizations and activities. Students in both locations also enjoy access to location specific externship opportunities.
Moscow

Clinics
Clinics offer valuable practical experience that gives students a head start in their legal career. The following are available at the Moscow location: Community Law Clinic and Immigration Litigation & Appellate Clinic.
Trial Advocacy Program
The Trial Advocacy Program provides an opportunity for third-year law students to learn practical skills in courtroom advocacy from experienced faculty and accomplished judges and practitioners.
Professional Opportunities
In Moscow, students will interact with judges on the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and Idaho Supreme Court, as well as university counsel, local attorneys, visiting speakers, and more. The Native American Law conference also provides educational opportunities on the law by and between Tribal, Federal, and State governments.
Boise
Boise is the hub of Idaho’s economic and government activity and the heart of the Treasure Valley. Our downtown location provides students with several unique learning opportunities:

Semester in Practice
Boise and the Treasure Valley provide third-year law students semester-in-practice opportunities in various fields of law. The experience gives students hands-on practical training with approved public agencies and nonprofit organizations that benefit from their talent and enthusiasm.
