Pele Peacock Fischer was a policy advisor and staff attorney for the Arizona House of Representatives. She received her undergraduate degree in business from Southern Methodist University and her law degree from the University of Idaho where she is a third generation graduate of the law school.
While in law school, Mrs. Fischer served as President of the Student Bar Association. She received the Outstanding Student Service Award and a Faculty Resolution Recognizing Extraordinary Service for her commitment to the law school community in 2007.
Ms. Fischer worked in Washington, D.C. as a law clerk for U.S. Senator for Idaho Larry Craig. Later, she returned to Phoenix, AZ to practice law with the firm of Alvarez & Gilbert focusing on commercial transactions and litigation matters. Ms. Fischer also previously worked as in-house counsel for First Solar until she took her current position with the Arizona House of Representatives.
Ms. Fischer is extremely involved and active in her community. She is a graduate of Scottsdale Leadership and the Flinn-Brown Civic Leadership Academy. In addition to serving on the College of Law Advisory Board, she is also involved in Fresh Start Women’s Foundation, the Junior League of Phoenix, and Emerging Leaders for Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
