Faculty Invited to Stop By the Student Technology Center for Central Device Management Installation
April 16, 2019
As a convenience for faculty, the Student Technology Center is available for inventory and installation of the management tool for the Central Device Management (CDM) program. If faculty received an email from “University of Idaho Support” with a subject of “Service Request Created (IT Best Use Initiative…” regarding IT staff scheduling a time for enrolling your devices, faculty with laptops may opt instead to bring their laptop(s) 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, April 19, to Room 128 of the Student Technology Center, in the TLC. Otherwise, IT support staff will continue office visits through this week where possible or schedule a time that works best for faculty. Learn more about the Central Device Management program.
Central Device Management is a program underway that is integral for the IT Best Use Initiative. If you have questions about the CDM program, submit them at IT-BestUse@uidaho.edu or visit the Central Device Management FAQs. You can always submit a request at support.uidaho.edu for any questions or service needs.
