COVID-19 Testing Kits Available

October 20, 2021

To assist the campus community with testing options, a limited supply of Vault COVID-19 testing kits are available on the Moscow campus. A medical referral is not necessary. Students, faculty and staff are eligible to pick up a testing kit at no charge while supplies last.

Test results typically arrive within 24-48 hours of the test being received by the lab. Specific instructions for completing the tests are provided and you should follow them carefully. You should quarantine until the test results arrive. File a VandalCARE report if a positive test result is received or if assistance is needed while in quarantine.

If you are symptomatic and want a Vault take-home saliva-based test, stop by the COVID-19 testing tent, outside the Vandal Health Clinic, to pick one up. The testing tent is open from noon to 2 p.m. weekdays. Your VandalCard is required. You are encouraged to consult with a medical professional if you are symptomatic and in need of medical care. Students, faculty and staff can call the Vandal Health Clinic at 208-885-6693 to speak with a provider and receive a referral for a Polymerase Chain Reaction test at Gritman Medical Center. The Gritman COVID-19 testing clinic is open 8 a.m. to noon weekdays; a referral is necessary. If you have any questions, email covid19questions@uidaho.edu.
