Science Saturday in the UI Arboretum—Plants and Bugs Up Close
July 07, 2017
Explore insect and plant anatomy up close at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 15, at the UI Arboretum with Katie Peterson from the University of Idaho Department of Biological Sciences. Science Saturday participants will use models and dissecting microscopes to learn about the relationship between plants and insects, and how that dynamic often benefits both groups. Meet at the Red Barn, on the south end of the Arboretum. The event is appropriate for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Pre-registration is encouraged as space is limited. Children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. For more information and to register, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
