11 a.m. – Welcome & Introduction to the University of Idaho

Come discover the interactive technology in our MILL makerspace, see our newly renovated first floor and café, meet a few of the Library’s friendly faculty and staff, learn how the library’s databases will help you succeed as a college student, and explore some of Idaho’s rich history first hand with primary source in the Special Collections and Archives Reading Room.

It also connects you with jobs by showing vital career information like career outlooks, expected entry-level wages and required education. Career Finder reveals your skills, values and interests through career assessments and shows how your major ties into career and professional opportunities after graduation.

The University Honors Program recruits talented and academically highly motivated students who desire to learn in a stimulating intellectual environment. The program provides students with the close-knit community of a college and the breadth and opportunities of a large and distinguished research university to help you reach your full potential. Join Honors Program staff and current Honors students to see what Honors can offer you! An optional 60-minute student-led tour of research labs and the Honors Program LLC living option will take place following the session.
