Important Dates and Events
- January-February | Meet the Vandals
Your students get the opportunity to with Vandal alumni, current students and faculty in their own town, and learn about the options they have for furthering their education. - March-August | UIdaho Bound
This is our signature event for admitted students. They can register for classes, sign up for housing, review their financial aid award package with staff, get their VandalCard, find friends and make connections while learning more about campus living. UIdaho Bound starts in March and continues throughout the summer. Students can pick the date that works best for them! - October | College App Month
College Application Month is a Next Steps Idaho program to help every Idaho high school student apply for a post-secondary degree. - October and November | Envision Idaho
Encourage your students to tour campus and explore their options as a student at U of I by personally experiencing our learning environments during these special open-house style events. - November | Avanza
Multicultural students get to meet Vandal alumni, current students and faculty in their own town. Learn about the days and locations this event is happening. - December | FAFSA Opens
Students may begin filling out the FAFSA for the following academic year. Remind them that there are many scholarships and types of aid available through U of I. To qualify, they simply need to submit their FAFSA and application for admission. U of I doesn't have a separate scholarship application process.
