Student Life
The Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology offers the Agricultural Risk Management and Collegiate Young Farmers and Ranchers clubs. Each organization offers students a great chance to become more involved at the University of Idaho, build relationships with fellow students and network with professors and members of the industry.
Students involved in extracurricular activities have the opportunity to travel, earn more scholarships and gain references from faculty. Students also develop leadership, communication and teamwork skills and receive professional experiences as they participate in club events and attend conventions and meetings within the industry.
