Admitted Student Events
Welcome to the University of Idaho! You're starting an exciting journey of breakthroughs, both academic and personal. This transition to campus life can be fun, and while some aspects of this change may be challenging, the New Student Orientation office is here to help. Our orientation activities are designed to prepare you for classes and help you to make the University of Idaho your home.
Your Orientation
New student orientation is your official welcome to the University of Idaho. Here, your orientation is two events: UIdaho Bound and New Student Orientation. These events have been crafted to deliver important information and experiences to aid in your transition to college.
UIdaho Bound is the first step in your orientation process — not to mention a great way to experience U of I and all it has to offer before classes begin.
New Student Orientation is the second part of your U of I orientation experience. This is your chance to move in, settle in after Greek recruitment and attend events with other incoming students and families. It is an expectation of the university that all new students, including those participating in Greek Recruitment and other orientations, attend New Student Orientation.
NOTE: All new, full-time U of I undergraduates on the Moscow campus are automatically charged the $100 New Student Orientation fee.
