Other Permits & Forms – Including Disability

Annual Disability | $64

Available for purchase online by university faculty, staff, students or frequent visitors who provide photo identification and current registration for a state-issued Disability permit or Disability license plates. As an alternative to an in-office purchase, this required information may be pre-submitted electronically to be made eligible for online purchase. If state-issued Disability permit is non-expiring, there will be no need to annually update state information after the initial submittal. Disability permit holders may park in: ADA marked spaces, any regular colored lot space, metered spaces, posted time spaces and valid campus walkway spaces.

Temporary Disability | Prices Vary

Available for purchase to visitors, staff, and students. Temporary disability permits are available at two pricing levels depending upon required duration: $2 flat fee for a consecutive three (3) day window; $1 per day for each day beyond the three (3) day window up to sixty (60) days. Annual parking permit holders may obtain a temporary disability permit at no charge.

Temporary disability permits are available for purchase without health care provider consent for an initial period of up to three (3) consecutive days per academic year. 4 to 60-day disability permits can be purchased with health care provider consent on the provider's office stationary; such consent may be transmitted electronically. A valid state temporary disability placard can be submitted in lieu of health care provider consent and will be honored for its issued time period. Disability permit holders may park in: ADA marked spaces, any regular colored lot space, metered spaces, posted time spaces and valid campus walkway spaces. Purchase information: emailable form.

Daycare | $15

Available for those who have children attending West Park Elementary, Early Childhood Learning Center or the Child Development Lab. Valid for 15 minutes in all colored lots. Purchase information: online form.

ROTC | $15

For current ROTC members; allows parking from 5 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. in Red or Blue lots (excluding Red lot 51). Purchase information: online form.

Early Morning Activity | Price Varies

Allows parking from 5 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. in Gold lot 39, Red lot 24 and Red lot 34. Permit is $0 for individuals who hold an annual permit or $15 otherwise.

Overnight | Price Varies

The Annual Overnight permit is intended for those who reside off-campus and have frequent and routine campus business between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Overnight permits are required for those with a valid Red or Blue permit or for those without an annual permit and is valid for parking in Red, Blue or Gold lots. Overnight permits are not required for commuters with a valid Gold permit. Gold permit holders may park overnight in Gold lots only.

Overnight permits are NOT valid in meters, timed spaces, service/delivery spaces, disability spaces, reserved spaces, campus walkway or an area not designated as a parking space. Parking reserves the right to verify information on the application for an Annual Overnight permit.

Permit is $0 for individuals who hold an annual permit or $15 otherwise. Purchase information: online form.

Temporary Overnight permits can be purchased online for $3/day or $0 for those who hold an annual permit. Follow the process as you normally would and then select "OVERNIGHTWEB" from the menu.

Temporary Delivery | Prices Vary

Temporary Delivery permits may be used in the following spaces for a maximum of 1 hour: signed delivery space, meters, timed spaces and regular colored lot spaces. These permits are not valid in reserved or disability spaces or areas not designated as parking spaces.

Temporary Delivery permits are $3/day for non-UI affiliates and $0 for UI affiliates. They can be ordered online. These permits are valid only for the dates printed on the permit.

Lost/Stolen Permit Replacement | $15

A lost or stolen permit should be reported to the parking office as soon as possible. You will need to complete a short lost/stolen permit form and pay a $15 replacement fee to receive a replacement permit. If you find your permit after reporting it stolen it is very important that you do not use it or give it to anyone else. You should return the permit to the Parking Office. Using a permit that was reported lost/stolen may result in a fine for lost/stolen permit ($200).

If you lose a payroll deducted Vandal parking permit you will need to notify us if you would like payroll deductions to cease for that permit, or to obtain a new permit for a $15 replacement fee.
