Student Recreation Center (SRC) Parking
The University of Idaho Student Recreation Center at 1000 Paradise Creek Street offers recreational activities, wellness classes, intramural sports and outdoor adventures. Pay-to-park Lot 107 (east side) and Lot 108 (west side) require payment 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday with no payment required during summer and academic breaks. These lots are enforced by license plate rather than a paper ticket or receipt. Pay-by-plate parking costs $.50/hour. Pay to Park areas are enforced by license plate rather than a ticket or receipt, so be sure to snap a picture of your plate before walking to the pay station if you do not have it memorized! When you enter the license plate into the pay station, be very careful to enter it correctly. An error may result in a citation even if you’ve paid for sufficient time. Watch the quick "how to" video.
The pay stations accept most debit/credit cards and U.S. dollar coins, quarters, dimes and nickels. Parking Lot 107 on the east side of the SRC has a 2-hour maximum purchase. There is no maximum time for purchases in Lot 108 on the west side.
Community Access Cards are available for purchase by non-UI faculty, staff, or students who are enrolled in a qualifying annual Student Recreation Center (SRC) membership. For the same full or pro-rated price as a Blue Parking permit, the Community Access Card allows for convenient daily parking to access the SRC by community members who otherwise are not eligible to purchase a University of Idaho parking permit. The Community Access Card allows for up to 2 hours parking per day between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the east SRC Parking Lot 107 only. It does not cover parking in any other lot on campus. Parkers must enter a valid license plate number into the pay station when swiping the card. When you enter the license plate into the pay station, be very careful to enter it correctly. An error may result in a citation. The Community Access Card does not allow for parking in any other location. Request a Community Access Card.
If you have a U of I Gold, Orange, Red, Silver or Visitor Parking pass, you may also park in regular spaces of nearby color-coded parking lots.
