Holiday Break Bus
The Office of the Dean of Students and Parking and Transportation Services partner to provide chartered buses to students for low-cost, safe and convenient transportation for holiday breaks.
Break Bus ticket sales for Spring 2021 Break Bus are now closed. Emails with detailed information have been sent to all Vandals who purchased tickets.
The Spring 2021 Break Buses to the Tri-Cities and Portland, OR, have been cancelled due to insufficient ticket sales.
Break Buses will leave promptly on Saturday, March 13. Ticket holders should arrive early, with no more than three pieces of luggage that are already tagged for identification. Riders are required to wear masks on the buses at all times except when eating or drinking. These are long trips and riders should be prepared with snacks, food and beverages as needed. Detailed schedules with times and locations of stops are attached to each rider’s confirmation email.
Please note that COVID-19 safety measures reduce the capacity of Break Buses from 50 to a maximum of 25 passengers per bus.

The Dean of Students Holiday Break Bus will operate according to CDC recommendations:

- Social distancing means only 25 student passengers per bus

Buses stop first at New Meadows and travel to towns along Highway 95 and Interstate to Boise. The bus will continue to transport students beyond Boise, making stops along the interstate to Idaho Falls. Times of arrival/departure for bus schedule are estimated. Delays could be possible due to weather, road conditions, etc.
Portland Bus - CANCELLED
Bus transportation is available to students traveling to the Portland/Vancouver area by way of the Tri-Cities with stops in Kennewick, The Dalles and Hood River. Times of arrival/ departure for bus schedule are estimated. Delays could be possible due to weather, road conditions, etc.
All payments are required to be paid on-line through the University of Idaho Marketplace, Dean of Students Store—Holiday Break Bus, with a credit card (VISA or Mastercard).
