Civil engineering
Master of Engineering
Lay the foundation
Civil engineering shapes the systems that support modern communities — from transportation networks to clean water and healthy ecosystems. In this program, you’ll go beyond traditional infrastructure design and explore how natural and built environments work together. You’ll study topics such as water resources engineering, ecohydraulics and the environmental processes that affect rivers, wetlands and other natural water bodies, alongside structural, geotechnical and transportation engineering.
This Master of Engineering program builds your advanced expertise while allowing you to customize your coursework across environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, ecohydraulics and water resources engineering, structural engineering or transportation engineering. You’ll learn to analyze regulations, environmental impact, hazards, cost and long-term performance — preparing you to contribute to both resilient infrastructure and sustainable natural-system management.
