U of I Arboretum and Botanical Gardens

University of Idaho Arboretum and Botanical Garden

Wander through gardens, trees and sweeping views at the University of Idaho Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Explore both the densely forested, hillside “old” arboretum (Shattuck) and the more open, floral “new” arboretum. Walk between the two and enjoy scenic views, including a pass by the campus water tower.

Play a round at the University of Idaho Golf Course or grab a bite at the Lookout Restaurant & Bar, offering some of the best views in Moscow overlooking our rolling hills.

Stroll the most well-known path on campus, Hello Walk, and snap a photo in front of the iconic Admin Building. Visit on the hour to hear the alma mater ring from the clock tower.

Idaho Museum of Natural History at University of Idaho

Vandal Science Day at the Integrated Research and Innovation Center (IRIC) on Friday, November 7, 2025. Vandal Science Day is a free and open-to-the-public annual event hosted by University of Idaho's College of Science. This engaging day of discovery features hands-on workshops, presentations and interactive learning experiences led by College of Science faculty members and students. Participants of all ages are invited to explore various scientific fields and see science come to life.

Step inside the Idaho Museum of Natural History at University of Idaho to explore Idaho’s wildlife, ecosystems and hands-on exhibits.

University of Idaho Library and special collections

Visit the University of Idaho Library and head upstairs to explore exhibits and unique materials in Special Collections.

ICCU Arena and Kibbie Dome

Football vs. UC Davis on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Fall Parent and Family Weekend.

See where Vandals compete, train and gather at the ICCU Arena and the P1FCU Kibbie Dome. Park along Stadium Drive for easy access, then explore both facilities. Don’t miss walking onto the nearby practice field for a unique view of the Kibbie Dome.

Greek Row

Students and families visit campus and participate in UIdaho bound events and tours around campus

Take a walk down Elm Street and experience University of Idaho Greek Life. On warm spring days, the area comes alive with music, games and activity.

Student Recreation Center and Climbing Center

The Outdoor Program hosts the Intro to Lead Climbing Clinic at the Climbing Center in the Student Recreation Center (SRC) on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. The clinic offered participants the opportunity to get prepared for using their own rope, review skills, learn how to use quickdraws, lead belaying with a braking device, catching and taking falls safely, and safe communication.

Purchase a day pass and check out one of the most popular student spaces on campus — the Student Recreation Center. Features include a climbing wall, cardio and weight areas, and plenty of space to stay active.

Reflections Gallery (ISUB)

The Health of the Nation - INBRE Art Exhibition is photographed in the Reflections Gallery in the Idaho Student Union Building (ISUB) on Thursday, January 22, 2026. INBRE funded science faculty and Art and Design faculty, worked together to transform cutting-edge research into compelling artwork.
