The heart of student life and learning at U of I

The Idaho Student Union Building (ISUB) and Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) are connected facilities that form the hub of student activity, academic instruction and event hosting on the Moscow campus.

Whether you're here to grab a bite, attend a lecture, find academic support or host an event, ISUB and TLC offer dynamic spaces designed to support student success and bring people together.

Inside the ISUB and TLC

Idaho Student Union Building (ISUB)

Located in the center of campus, ISUB is home to dining options, student support services, study lounges, conference rooms and offices that help students get involved, stay connected and feel at home.

Teaching and Learning Center (TLC)

TLC is U of I’s main classroom building, with 35 modern classrooms, flexible learning spaces and instructional technology. It promotes collaboration and innovation for both students and faculty.

These buildings were originally constructed as separate facilities and later merged to better serve students. The ISUB was renamed in 2019 to emphasize its student-focused mission.
