Schedule Interviews
You can request an interview schedule at the University of Idaho through Handshake. On-campus interviews are hosted by Career Services in private spaces at no cost in the Idaho Student Union Building (ISUB). If you cannot visit campus, you can use Handshake to support virtual interviews. We also organize day-after-fair interviews following our Career Fairs in the fall and spring.
- Room Only: A room will be reserved in Handshake, but the slots will be managed by you outside of Handshake. You can select students for this interview schedule, but they will not be able to take slots in Handshake.
- Open: Specify an application period where if students meet the qualifications set on the interview they can take slots. The students will be able to take a slot immediately after applying.
- Preselect: Specify an application period and a signup period. Primary and alternate student choices are selected by you after the application period. Primary candidates are allowed to sign up before alternate candidates.
Career Services can host in-person interviews at our office inside the Idaho Student Union Building (ISUB) in the center of campus. Staff at the Vandal Success Center desk will check students in and direct them to wait for the interviewer to collect them when ready.
Request your interview schedule through Handshake including date, time, and the number of rooms. You can attach job(s) already posted in Handshake or create a new posting for your interview visit.

Career Services organizes on-campus interviews for Career Fair employers the two days following the Fall and Spring Career Fairs.
Hosted in a large semi-private space, day-after-fair interviews last from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our staff checks students in and directs them to a general waiting area where interviewers collect them when ready.
One interview table is included with fair registration. Additional interview tables cost $25 each.
