Our mission is to empower students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their professional and academic pursuits. Career Services offers a range of dynamic presentations designed to prepare students for success, whether entering the job market or pursuing graduate studies.

These sessions can vary in length from 15 to 90 minutes, depending on your needs. Submitting requests at least two weeks in advance is greatly appreciated. Once submitted, a Career Services staff member will contact you to schedule and finalize details.

Navigating USAJOBS step by step

Learn how to efficiently search for federal jobs and internships in USAJOBS. Learn how to create search filters, set up email notifications, read and understand job descriptions, determine eligibility and use the online resume builder. 

Handshake overview

Handshake is the number one way college students find jobs. Career Services can lead a classroom demonstration on how to use Handshake, build a profile to connect with employers, find career events and find on-campus employment, internships and jobs.
