Since March 2010, when the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA or ACA) became law, the University of Idaho has devoted significant time and effort toward understanding how it will affect our health plan and our employees. As a result, we are continuing to offer medical and prescription coverage only, at full cost, to non board-appointed employees who:
- Work at least 30 hours a week, or
- Teach at least 11 credits per semester as a temporary faculty member or lecturer.
Be sure to check the Health Care Reform flyer for more information on the medical/Rx plan coverage.
