Athletic Training Applied Learning Spaces

In addition to clinical affiliation sites around the country and the traditional classrooms and equipment on campus at the University of Idaho, the program utilizes multiple state-of-the-art facilities.

Instructional Spaces

  • The Integrated Sports Medicine and Rehabilitative Therapy (ISMaRT) Clinic provides a dynamic teaching and learning environment year-round for AT Program students. In the traditional academic year, the ISMaRT Clinic serves as a fully-functioning teaching-learning clinic. During the summer’s and finals weeks, the space transforms into a fully integrative classroom space.
  • The WWAMI Anatomy Training Lab is like few other anatomy labs – housed at Gritman Medical Center. It is a 10,000-square-foot space that includes the anatomy lab and an active learning classroom, student lounge, and faculty offices. Each are designed to be flexible and develop a sense of community and camaraderie for students while studying in Moscow.
  • The WWAMI Medical Education Building is a newly renovated facility positioned just steps from the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences and the WWAMI Anatomy Training Lab. This building serves as the headquarters for the WWAMI program at the University of Idaho. Filled with modern and flexible amenities, the WWAMI Medical Education Building serves as an additional space that the AT Programs utilize to deliver their progressive curriculum.
  • Integrated Sports Medicine Movement Analysis Laboratory (ISMMAL). Students in the M.S.A.T. and D.A.T. programs use these spaces to gain clinical and research skills alongside our experienced faculty members in a translational and inter-professional collaborative environment.
