Struggling with a class or just want to stay ahead? Vandals Tutoring at U of I offers free academic support to help you reach your academic goals. Our services are available to all undergraduate students — no appointment necessary for in-person help.
Drop-in tutoring hours and schedule
When: 3-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday
Where: Second floor of the Library
Our drop-in tutoring covers a wide range of subjects including math, chemistry, biology, computer science and more. Some upper-division or specialty courses have limited support.

Online tutoring
Prefer learning remotely? Free online tutoring is available via Zoom for courses listed in the drop-in schedule.
- Appointments are typically one hour per subject but may run longer if your tutor is available. We cannot guarantee that online meetings will be one-on-one.
- Scheduling is first-come, first-served.
