"Just Dead Enough" takes the form of a comic monologue-a-deux set at a memorial service where one sister is eulogizing another. But the deceased and disagreeable sister refuses to die without getting in a last word. A heartwarming and funny comedy about life, death, and sisterhood.

General Auditions
- August 26, 2023
- 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hartung Theatre, 625 Stadium Drive.
- Special considerations are posted here.
- Please review the special considerations and other documents for each play before you audition.
- If you are feeling ill, please do not attend the in-person auditions. Instead submit an audition video on Airtable.
Audition Requirements
- Actors should prepare a one-minute contemporary monologue which can be comedic or dramatic
- 32 bars (approx. 1/3) of a Broadway/Musical Theatre song. Please bring sheet music with you for the accompanist. No acapella singing auditions, please.
- The closest version to our Amélie production is the London/West End version which you can listen to here on Spotify.
- Actors who do not have a monologue or song prepared may still audition. Materials will be provided.
- Please use this Airtable to sign up and submit requested materials (headshot and resume if you have them and audition card.)
Callbacks
Callbacks for "Amelie" will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023.
Callbacks for "What the Constitution Means to Me" - The Legionnaire and The Debater - will be held after the other fall departmental productions are cast, since this is an Idaho Repertory Theater Production. Details to come.
