Partnerships with the Martin Institute

The Martin Institute has long benefited from partnerships with like-minded organizations within the broader University of Idaho community.  Foremost of these is the Program in International Studies, which graduated its first student in 1991 and has been affiliated with the Institute since 1997.

The relationship with the Borah Foundation goes back even further. Institute faculty and staff provide administrative and institutional support to the Borah Committee, leading to the annual Borah Symposium. Held every year since 1948, this University of Idaho event proffers new ideas for overcoming the obstacles to world peace.

More recently, the Martin Institute partnered with the James A. & Louise McClure Center for Public Policy Research on an annual student ambassadorship that bridges the interests of the two entities.
