Statistical Consulting Center
The Statistical Consulting Center (SCC) helps with statistical design and analysis so researchers can produce high-quality, reproducible research. We provide assistance in the design of experiments and sample surveys, advice on statistical analyses, and expertise on recent developments in statistical research. We can also provide, for a cost, assistance and collaboration at a more extensive level. The best time to seek statistical consulting is during the earliest stages of the research project, and before any data is collected.
Faculty members, staff, and graduate students from any discipline are welcome.
Consulting help for Fall 2021 ended on Friday, December 20, 2021. The SCC will re-open on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. For Spring 2022, the SCC is closed for walk-ins, but consultants are available via email! Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to work with a consultant.
Help in the design of experiments and sample surveys, help in calculating sample size, advice on statistical analyses, and advice on statistical computing programs are provided for free, which is funded by the Department of Mathematics and Statistical Science.
For more information, email email@example.com, or come in during our walk in hours.
Receive professional assistance from one of the statisticians at the center for a negotiated fee. Some of the services we can provide:
