The Department of Mathematics and Statistical Science at University of Idaho provides a dynamic environment for studying mathematical and statistical principles. Our programs integrate classroom learning with hands-on research, offering students opportunities to engage in advanced studies in high demand areas such as bioinformatics, algebra, differential equations, combinatorics and mathematics education.
