From the roar of a packed stadium on game day to quiet early-morning workouts, our athletic and recreation facilities play a vital role in campus life.
Major campus athletics facilities include:
- P1FCU Kibbie Dome — A campus landmark and home to Vandal Football and indoor track and field.
- East Practice Field — Outdoor practice field used for athletics and recreation.
- ICCU Arena — Idaho’s premier venue for men’s and women’s basketball, special events and concerts.
- Physical Education Building (PEB) — Hosts volleyball, swimming and multipurpose courts.
- Memorial Gym — A historic venue supporting fitness, intramurals and university events.
Outdoor recreation facilities
University of Idaho offers a wide range of outdoor recreation facilities that are open year-round to students, employees and the Moscow community. These welcoming spaces support everything from competitive sports and casual pick-up games to outdoor events and quiet leisure.

- Tennis and pickleball courts
- Sand volleyball and basketball courts
- An 18-hole disc golf course

Specialty athletic facilities on campus
Swim Center
The University of Idaho Swim Center is one of the top aquatics facilities in the Inland Northwest. It offers lap swimming, group and private swim lessons, lifeguard training and fitness classes — all in a welcoming, accessible space for campus and the public.
Vandal Golf Course
Set in the rolling hills of the Palouse, the Vandal Golf Course is both a challenging course and a scenic retreat. Open to students, alumni, community members and visitors, it’s a place to play, learn and enjoy the landscape.
