Academic facilities
Reserve academic spaces
University of Idaho offers a variety of academic spaces that can be reserved for trainings, workshops, lectures and campus events. Whether you're planning a professional development session or a student organization meeting, our academic facilities provide flexible, well-equipped environments in the heart of campus.
While classrooms are primarily used for university courses, many are available for use by university departments and recognized student groups. For larger gatherings hosted by university organizations or members of the public, consider the Idaho Student Union Building (ISUB) and the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) — two of the most versatile and centrally-located venues on campus.

Classroom assignments are handled through scheduling software that helps maximize availability and efficiency across campus.
When not in use for classes, general classrooms may be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis by:
- U of I colleges and departments
- ASUI-recognized student organizations

At this time, classrooms are not available for reservation by community members.
