Maddie Goebel is a forestry and natural resources educator for University of Idaho Extension. She has worked with University of Idaho since October 2023.
Maddie earned a bachelor's in environment, economy, development and sustainability from The Ohio State University and a master's in natural resources from the University of Idaho. Before joining UI Extension, she worked on drought planning with producers and drought/climate decision-support tools at the National Drought Mitigation Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. In her spare time, Maddie enjoys horseback riding, biking, climbing, hiking and reading.
