4-H Enrollment

Enroll online through the 4-H online portal. Contact Jeni Bywater at jbywater@uidaho.edu with any questions.

Eligibility

Enrollment in 4-H or any 4-H program is subject to approval by the appropriate UI Extension personnel.

To be eligible for enrollment and/or participation, previous members must be in compliance with state and county policies and not have any outstanding debts/payments due.

Please refer to the UI Extension 4-H Youth Development Policies and Procedures publication #91605 for additional policies and procedures.

Deadlines

Youth may enroll in 4-H at any time throughout the year. However, local deadlines must be met to participate in specific 4-H activities or events (i.e., fairs, camps, etc.).

Minidoka County’s Enrollment Deadline for fair participation is April 15. Members may join after this date, but may not be able to meet project or club requirements in order to participate at the fair.

Fees

  • Participation Fee — $15 per member, $45 per family maximum
  • Regular 4-H Members — $10 per member
  • Cloverbuds — $10 per member
  • Horse 4-H Members — $10 per member

All fees include $1 required accident insurance.
