Alumni Association names new executive director
Students and faculty of the Calder School take part in an activity put on by the school and U of I's College of Natural Resources, including using CNR's logging simulator and learning from CNR faculty about forest industry careers. For UCM story about how U of I resources in Moscow, and the county Extension office in St. Maries, assists small, rural schools by bringing technology and lectures to them to aid their education.

    Learn, Engage, Act, Develop Summit (I-LEADS)

    Held over a weekend in the fall, Idaho 4-H LEADS (Learn, Engage, Act, Develop Summit) is open to youth in grades 8-12 from all delivery modes (club, camp, afterschool, in-school, Juntos, etc.). I-LEADS is designed to help youth discover sparks, belonging and relationships while empowering them to lead change within their 4-H program, school and/or community. With an emphasis on leadership development, the program provides learning and teaching opportunities for teens in the areas of agricultural sciences, health and wellbeing, STEM and expressive arts.
