Posted Fri, 08 Apr 2016 10:40:00 -0700The third annual Palouse Language and Culture Symposium will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 16, in the Whitewater Room of the Idaho Commons. This is a great opportunity for language and culture educators and students to collaborate, network and learn from one another. There are 24 excellent workshops on a variety of topics: teaching language, culture and bias, faculty collaboration, and motivating students. Distinguished guest speaker, Manka Varghese, Ph.D., from the University of Washington will be speaking on "English Language Learners' College Pathways and Experiences." Pre-registration is $20.
