    Accessing your account

To access your U of I student account online, log into MyUI and select the "Accounts and Billing" card. From there, you can pay tuition, view account details, set permissions and manage your payment options securely.

    Troubleshooting common account issues

    • Do not use a mobile device or tablet, as the page typically does not display properly or at all.
    • Using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as your web browser works the best. Other web browsers, including Safari and Firefox, will not work.
    • Your pop-up blocker needs to be turned off in order for a new tab to open for the payment system.
    • If you pressed the back button on your browser at any time, you will be taken to a screen asking for your login and password. This login will not work. You will need to log off MyUI and log back on or reboot your computer.

Further issues, please contact OIT at 208-885-HELP (4357).

    Account payment options

You can pay your tuition and fees in full by cash, check, debit card, credit card or electronic bank transfer (E-Check).

    • Cash is accepted only in person at the Student Accounts/Cashiers Window.
    • Checks are accepted in person at the Student Accounts/Cashier's window or via mail.
    • Checks should be made out to Bursar, U of I
    • Debit Card payment, with a PIN #, is accepted only in person at the Student Account/Cashier's window.
    • Credit card and Debit card payment is accepted via MyUI (with a convenience fee of $3 or 3%, whichever is greater).
    • Electronic bank transfers (E-Checks) are accepted only via MyUI (no convenience fee).

    For parents

For access to your student’s account to view or pay tuition, your student must give you access. Your student should:

    • Log into MyUI
    • Click the accounts and billing card
    • Click View Account Activity
    • Select Authorize Users to set access permissions and enter the email of the person needing access to the account. An email will be sent to the designated address outlining next steps.

    Online account payments

To pay a balance online, log into MyUI, select the "Accounts and Billing" card, click on "MAKE A PAYMENT."

    Mailing address for payments

If you mail your payment, it must arrive by the first day of the semester to avoid a late fee. Mailed in payments should be sent to:

    Student Accounts/Cashiers
    University of Idaho
    875 Perimeter Drive MS 4250
    Moscow, ID 83844-4250

    Physical address for payments

    Bruce Pitman M. Center
709 Deakin Street, First Floor, Cashiers Window
    Moscow, Idaho

    Payment plans

University of Idaho offers payment plans to students unable to pay in full by the beginning of the semester or who do not have enough financial aid to cover the full balance for the semester. The payment plan requires an enrollment fee of $55 for each semester.

    • Fall semester payment plans can be set up for four monthly payments beginning in August.
    • Spring monthly payment plans can be set up for four monthly payments beginning in January.
    • Summer payment plans can be set up for four monthly payments beginning in early-May.

Sign up for a payment plan

To sign up for a payment plan, log into MyUI, select the "Accounts and Billing" card, click on "MAKE A PAYMENT," then select Payment Plans.

    Important payment plan details

    • Fall/Spring: You must have the payment plan set up by the first day of classes to avoid late fees from University of Idaho.
    • Summer: You must have the payment plan set up by the first Monday of your first session to avoid late fees from University of Idaho.
    • You must have at least $150 in charges to set up a payment plan.
    • A late fee of $60 is charged for payments not received by each payment plan installment due date.
    • Transcripts may be released for students without Title IV funding if they are current on their payment plan balance. Transcript holds will be placed on accounts that have an owing balance for students that have not received Title IV funding.
    • If you receive financial aid after you have set up a payment plan, the financial aid is applied to your student account balance first, and the plan installment amounts are decreased or canceled.
    • If you are delinquent on two installments on a payment plan, this can result in the plan being canceled and regular University of Idaho late payment fees will be incurred.

    How TransferMate works

Pay your fees via TransferMate using a simple four-step process.

    1. Log into MyUI to find your account balance. Once in MyUI, go to the "Accounts and Billing" card, this will show you what your current account balance is. For Fall semester, balances will be available 10 days prior to the start of the semester. For Spring and Summer semesters, balances will be available five days prior to the start of the semester. If making payment prior to departure from your country, please only pay 50% of the balance. You can pay the remainder once you are at University of Idaho. If making payment prior to your charges posting, please pay up to $5,000.00 USD.
    2. Register on the secure TransferMate Student Portal.
    3. Select the country you are paying from - You'll receive the exchange rate for that day, choose wire bank transfer or credit card as your payment method.
    4. Once funds are received by TransferMate, these funds are transferred to U of I for processing. Please allow up to two weeks for payment to show on the student’s account.
