Vandal Health Clinic
Services for Vandal students
Your health is important, which is why the Vandal Health Clinic is a full-range primary care option, staffed with board-certified physicians, advanced practice providers and registered nurses. Our clinicians provide primary care and referral services to U of I students, making it easy for you to access everything from wellness checks to illness diagnosis and treatment or specialist referrals.
Insurance information
The Vandal Health Clinic is not contracted with all insurance companies. It is your responsibility to make sure the Vandal Health Clinic is an in-network provider prior to being seen. Co-payments and co-insurance are expected at the time of service.
If you're part of the Student Health Insurance Program, Vandal Health Clinic services are covered as part of your insurance plan.
Education for medical students
As a teaching clinic, Idaho WWAMI medical students have the opportunity to gain clinical experience under the supervision of full-time clinical physician faculty within the WWAMI program, while providing medical care to the U of I student population.
Should you prefer not to have your appointment include a medical student, there is a full-time primary care provider available to treat you.
