New apartment housing is under construction at South Hill on the University of Idaho campus in Moscow, and is scheduled to open in August 2026. South Hill will offer modern, sustainable housing for graduate students, married couples and families at the University of Idaho. The development includes 451 total beds — 232 for graduate students and 219 for married and parenting students — to meet a range of housing needs. A commons community center will provide shared spaces for studying, collaboration and social engagement.

    Join us annually for the University of Idaho's Snake River Weed Management Tour and Field Day (June) or for the Snake River Sugar Beet Conference (December) at University of Idaho Kimberly Research and Extension Center.

    Registration — 8-9 a.m.

    Tour — 9 a.m. to Noon

    • Followed by a sponsored lunch. You do not need to preregister or RSVP

    Featuring

    • Wild oat control in spring wheat; kochia control in sugar beet
    • Commercial product comparison and weed control demonstrations in alfalfa, corn, dry bean, mustard, sugar beet and wheat
    • Weed science graduate student research updates
    • Palmer amaranth and waterhemp updates
    • Alfalfa and corn silage production
    • Irrigation and water management
    • Potato production and storage
    • Insect studies in potato and sugar beet

    Credits — Three (3) ISDA credits anticipated
