Earn This Degree Online

The M.S. Cybersecurity degree is available on-campus and fully remotely. Our remote programs are the same high quality, accredited programs as our on-campus programs. As a student you will take the same courses, from the same professors, with the same content as our on-campus students.

Depending on your schedule, you will have the option of attending our on-campus lectures live via live zoom, including the opportunity to participate, ask questions, etc. just like an on-campus student, or to watch recorded lectures within a few hours/days of the on-campus students. You will complete the same assignments, take the same exams, are expected to do the same level of research, have access to zoom office hours with your professors, and otherwise receive the same quality education as our on-campus students.

We offer both thesis and non-thesis options. Thesis students must work with their major professor to complete and publish a research project. Non-thesis students must also complete, and often publish, a smaller scale project.

Tuition costs for fully online students are the same as resident tuition costs. However, fully online course sections carry additional course fees. Please visit the tuition and fees page for detailed information on tuition costs.

Information about how to apply, including deadlines, required materials, etc. are available on the Graduate Admissions website. Information and support for international students is available on the Graduate Admissions international resources website.
