Safe is Sexy Week
February 7 - 11, 2022
Safe is Sexy is a time for Vandal students to learn, reflect, and navigate their way toward improved relationships and sexual health. We offer different events and opportunities to ask and find answers to your sexual health questions. The week focuses on consent, healthy relationships, sexually transmitted infection prevention, unintended pregnancy prevention, sexual responsibility and providing you with all the sexual health resources you need.
Safe is Sexy Events
Stop by the Free Speech Wall in the TLC to share your thoughts on safe sex and pick up some free condoms!
The North Idaho AIDS Coalition (NIAC), in partnership with Vandal Health Education, will be providing free HIV-Hep-C screenings during Safe is Sexy Week outside at the ISUB Plaza (weather permitting).
Stop by anytime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8.
Join us at the ISUB Plaza from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Feb. 9 for the Pledge the Bed Health Hut, where students sign a blow-up bed to pledge their commitment to sexual responsibility.
Join the movement to inspire students to actively take part in respecting their partners and having open lines of communication.
Sex in the Dark provides students a unique opportunity to ask anonymous questions about any sexual health-related topic to a panel of "sexperts.” The theme is healthy relationships, but any questions are welcome!

In this workshop, participants will discuss and learn about aspects of healthy relationships, reflect on what types of relationships they are or are not interested in, consider qualities of partners that are important to them and reflect on relationship red flags and how to support a friend. Join in virtually on Feb. 10 from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
This workshop is provided in collaboration with the Violence Prevention Programs.
Happy early Valentine's Day from VHE!
We will be handing out condom Valentine's Day cards at the Student Recreation Center from 1-4 p.m.
