Intramural and club sports

Athletes can find friendly competition year-round with the wide array of University of Idaho intramural sports and sport clubs. Join a casual game as part of an intramural team or represent the Vandals in regional competitions as a sports club member, there’s room for everyone to play.

U of I offers the resources you need to stay active, train effectively and enjoy an active lifestyle. University of Idaho provides top-tier fitness and recreation facilities to support student health, wellness and athletic performance. You’ll find a full-service gym, specialized training spaces or outdoor recreation opportunities on the Moscow campus.

Conveniently located near first-year residence halls, the Student Recreation Center (SRC) is a central hub for fitness and wellness.

Get active outdoors with U of I’s tennis and pickleball courts, sand volleyball pits, soccer field and disc golf course.

U of I Outdoor Program

The Outdoor Program office, located inside the Student Recreation Center, offers guided adventures year-round to explore Idaho and the Pacific Northwest’s stunning landscapes. It also offers a library of outdoor trip resources and a gear rental center for those planning their own outdoor adventure. You’ll find everything you need for camping, hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding and more.

U of I’s nationally recognized Vandal Spirit Squad brings game days to life with powerful cheer, stunts, tumbling and dance performances.

UIdaho Fitness Program

The Student Recreation Center hosts U of I’s Fitness Program, where you can participate in fitness classes such as cycling, Pilates, TRX® and yoga. Courses rotate each semester and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’re interested in a more personalized approach, you can sign up for personal training sessions with U of I’s staff of professional trainers.
