High School Art Exhibition
A platform for young artists to shine
The High School Art and Design Exhibition provides all Idaho high school students the opportunity to exhibit their artwork in a professional gallery space on University of Idaho’s campus. This annual event, a tradition for over 30 years, celebrates young artistic talent and fosters a connection between aspiring artists and the university community.

- Submission deadline: Feb. 27, 2026
- Notification of invites: March 23, 2026
- Exhibition dates: April, 2026
- Location: University of Idaho Campus Gallery
A jury will select 30 works for display in the gallery, accompanied by a digital slideshow of all submissions. Jurors will also determine awards and honors, with recipients receiving gift bundles that include art supplies and University of Idaho merchandise.
