  • McCall Outdoor Science School is Idaho's ONLY publicly operated K-12 outdoor school. MOSS offers a one-of-a-kind learning experience for Idaho youth, graduate students, teachers and the local community.
  • The Dig'nIT Initiative holds bold goal of changing the culture in northern Idaho to one that embraces high tech, high growth businesses. The program connects with regional IT companies and new start-ups to harvest corporate input that will enable a focus on practical development of skills required for industry success. Activities include Dig'nIT Coding Camp for Girls, Dig'nIT JAVA Camp for Teens, Dig'nIT summer internships and a Teacher Computer Science/Mathematics Integration training.
  • U of I STEM Education Initiative brings together the many unique and impactful programs across the university from preschool to graduate school that prepare and inspire students to enter and succeed in STEM fields. Our research informs best practices and drives how we prepare, recruit and retain students in STEM fields. The U of I has awarded over half of the Bachelor's degree related to STEM in the state of Idaho.
