    Postdoc resources and opportunities

The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) at University of Idaho supports the professional and personal growth of postdoctoral researchers across all disciplines. We work with students, faculty and staff to provide useful resources for the postdoc community and to improve the overall postdoc experience at U of I. OPA will help prepare you for successful entry and advancement in your career path of choice.

    Who are our postdocs

This includes postdoctoral fellows, research associates and some part-time and visiting researchers. Most postdoc appointments last two to three years, with a five-year maximum.

A recent survey of our current postdocs showed that they come from all continents, and two-thirds of our postdocs are international. Female representation is around 40 percent of all postdocs.
