A Quick FYI on Room Requests
Do Not Send Separate Requests
Please do not send separate requests for the same event or meeting taking place in both locations via VC or Skype or Teleconference. You will run the risk of not getting space in both locations that will accommodate your needs.
All requests should include the preferred space, the purpose of the meeting or event, the estimated number of attendees, the start AND end time, the date, and if you require any technical support. The scheduling team will notify Law Technology of your needs in the confirmation email. Please do not route room requests through Law Technology!
Preferred Space
Make sure to review the online space calendars for open space. Do not assume space is available. Not all spaces listed on the calendars are available for student group meetings or study group reservations. The scheduling team will respond to student requests accordingly if a requested space is not open for reservation for student group meetings or study groups.

24 Hour Minimum Notice
Requests should be sent a minimum of 24 hours in advance. Same day requests may not always be responded to in time and it should not be assumed that a request is approved if a confirmation PDF is not received.
Study Groups
Menard/Moscow Study Groups
Study groups are restricted to no more than 4 hours per day.
Front Street/Boise Study Groups
Study group reservations are limited to no more than 2 hours per day.
- All study group members are required to be included (with email addresses) in the request for study group space. No reservation will be made until all study group members are listed.
Study group reservations will be made for no more than one week at a time.
- New requests will need to be submitted by 2 p.m. MT Friday each week. Reservations received after 2 p.m. MT Friday each week will not be guaranteed.
- If a reservation is made and a group decides not to meet, a request to cancel the reservation for that week or day must be sent to law-rooms@uidaho.edu to ensure the room is available for others to use.
If a group chooses to use a room without a reservation, if a reservation is made for another group, the group with the reservation has priority over the room.
