The livestock industry produces large quantities of manure that must be disposed of in a way that prevents contamination of water resources. Composting is an efficient way to deal with manure, reducing manure volume by up to 50% and turning it into a product to improve agricultural soils. This seven-page illustrated publication examines four methods of composting.
