Northern Idaho Fertilizer Guide: Spring Canola

CIS1012

July 11, 2005

Fertilizer improves plant growth and productivity. An entry in the northern Idaho Fertilizer Guide series, this four-page publication offers fertilizer guidelines for nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, micronutrients and lime for spring canola based on four years of field trials in northern Idaho and on Canadian research. Also includes agronomy/water-quality considerations. The suggested rates should produce above-average yields if delivered using sound management practices.
