Irrigation and Nitrogen Fertilization Affect End-Use Quality of Spring Wheat of Three Market Classes

BUL0957

January 31, 2020

Water and nitrogen are key ingredients in successful cropping systems, particularly in the challenging climates of the semiarid and arid regions of the western United States. This publication provides and discusses the results of three field experiments to determine the best nitrogen and water loads for growing wheat grain in Idaho and Montana. A quick summary of the findings and recommendations for application at the end provide a useful study overview.
