Please join the Margaret Ritchie School of Family and Consumer Sciences staff and faculty for an overview of our academic programs which include disciplines such as Food and Nutrition, Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Nutritional Sciences, Human Development and Family Studies, Apparel Textiles and Design and FCS Teacher Education. What does it mean to be a good citizen, and how has the concept evolved from the Roman Empire to today? Join faculty to explore these questions and the responsibilities and rights of citizenship, both ancient and modern. Engage, ask questions and gain insights for a meaningful college journey. Ideal for students interested in political science, history, international studies, modern languages, global business language studies, philosophy and general studies.

Investigate the world of psychology and criminology by diving into the nuances of homicide typologies and the various forms of personality disorders. Ideal session for those interested in psychology, criminology, communication, anthropology, sociology, organizational sciences or general studies.
College of Natural Resources
Here’s a chance to try your hand at radio telemetry, which is a technique used to locate and study wildlife (and fish). Participants will use telemetry receivers and antennas to practice locating radio transmitters. We’ll also discuss other types of telemetry used in wildlife studies, including GPS and satellite telemetry.
